Color and the Evolution of Consciousness

It is interesting to note that colors have become more complex as our lives and society has become more complex. When looking at the colors used by the Masters of the Renaissance paintings, it can be noted that the color pallet is not as wide a spectrum as today’s color pallets. As consciousness evolves, we are able to see a deeper range of colors.

Volumes have been written on color; its psychological, physiological, emotional, cultural and spiritual impacts on our bodies, minds and spirits. Dr Amber writes, “Light through color may be regarded as an expression of expanding human awareness of itself and the cosmos.” He goes on to say that “the body also has a soul, the substance of which is color. Color is an aspect of the body; to those who believe in the soul, it may be said that color is as necessary to the soul and air is to the body. Without a bridge between these two worlds, the inner and the outer, man has no guide for daily living. Color is that bridge.”

Use these color wheels to discover more about yourself and create a wider bridge between your inner and outer worlds. As you bring in more colors into your field of vision, your brain will shift and your life will start to transform.
